Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL)

APIL is an independent, not-for-profit organisation, which exists to fight for the rights of injured people, ensuring access to justice and improving standards in personal injury legal services. APIL is the trusted organisation in the promotion, encouragement and development of expertise in personal injury law. Bakers Personal Injury Solicitors are corporately accredited with APIL.


Investors in People

Investors in People is a national quality standard which sets a benchmark to ensure good practice. The Standard helps organisations to improve performance and realise objectives through the management and development of their people. The UK Commission for Employment and Skills develops and maintains the integrity of the Investors in People Standard and frameworks.


Lexcel

Lexcel is the Law Society's practice management standard which is only awarded to solicitors who meet the highest management and customer care standards. Lexcel accredited practices undergo rigorous independent assessment every year to ensure they meet required standards of excellence in areas such as client care, case management, auditing and risk management.


Motor Accident Solicitors Society (MASS)

MASS is a national association of solicitors representing the victims of road traffic accidents. The society is non-profit making and all its members are experts in road accident and personal injury claims. All members are committed to adhere to the standards laid down in the MASS Code of Conduct and have proved their expertise in road accident claims.


Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)

SRA is the regulation body for solicitors in England and Wales. The SRA ensures that industry standards are met and takes action if any risks are identified. The Solicitors Act 1974 requires all practising solicitors to hold a practising certificate and to abide by a solicitor’s Code of Conduct.


The Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel Accreditation Scheme

Membership of this accreditation scheme helps potential clients identify solicitors who are experienced and competent in personal injury law and who have met exacting standards set by The Law Society.
