Accident at work

Mr H contacted Bakers Personal Injury Solicitors about an accident that he sustained at work.

Mr H was injured as he was coming down a new flight of stairs at a construction site he was working at, he got to the last step and unknown to him, as the stairs had not been built, someone had put a milk crate where the step should have been.

He sustained a nasty injury to his wrist and fingers and banged his head. Mr H contacted Bakers Personal Injury Solicitors to claim compensation. The insurers said that as Mr H was a contractor he could not claim for his injuries as self-employed workers have to prove a different duty of care.

Despite this Bakers Personal Injury Solicitors issued Court proceedings and won Mr H's case and he happily accepted a cheque for £15,000. Mr H was delighted and said that he would use Bakers Personal Injury Solicitors' legal services again.
