Our client receives £16,000 compensation for accident at work Whilst working a night shift as a labourer at a waste management facility, our client Paul was passing a scaffolding board to his colleague who was above him. Paul's colleague dropped the board which landed on Paul causing him injury. He was taken to hospital where he was found to have suffered a fractured collar bone, grazing and bruises. His fracture took eight months to heal and he continues to have reduced mobility in his left shoulder and the area aches in cold weather. Paul was off work for seven months after the accident and is now unable to pursue his hobby, golf, due to the injury. Paul's employers denied liability and Court proceedings were issued. We obtained medical evidence and negotiations succeeded in securing Paul satisfactory compensation without the need to proceed to trial. See our full list of 'Accidents at Work' services.
