Bakers Solicitors have a position available for a Paralegal/Litigation Assistant based in their office in Aldershot, Hampshire. The role is working within the portal team, full job description below:

Job Description

  1. Conduct claims for personal injury and such other related claims on behalf of clients of the Firm
  2. Process claims for personal injury from instructions through to expiry of the protocol
  3. Submit claims to the RTA/EL/PL Portal process
  4. Correspond with all relevant parties in the conduct of claims
  5. Assist with issuing proceedings as necessary and as authorised
  6. Ensure that clients and any relevant insurers are given accurate and up-to- date legal advice promptly
  7. Provide Paralegal support to the Litigation team in drafting Particulars of claim, cost budgets, witness statement, instructions to counsel, trail bundles and attending hearings as and when required. on an as required basis
  8. Develop knowledge of and skill in the management of personal injury claims

This is a fast paced department with each team member responsible for a high volume case load. Successful candidates should be highly self motivated and driven, able to work under pressure and have the ability to time manage effectively.

Full training will be given along with on-going supervision.
